Features and Technology
The new Venture processing platform is Phonak’s latest offering. The Venture is a new chip technology that is twice the processing power of its predecessors, while still preserving battery up to 30%. For all areas of hearing loss, Venture addresses different environments with four main functions: Speech in Car, Comfort in Echo, Speech in Loud Noise, and Music. The Venture Platform also offers StereoZoom, which enhances speech recognition 60% better than previous Phonak hearing aids. For a balanced and natural listening experience, AutoSense OS captures and analyzes sounds from the current noise environment and mixes audio in order to provide wearers with clarity and a full spectrum of sound.
Additionally, Phonak hearing aids are equipped with UltraZoom, to allow wearers to focus on the sounds they want to hear. Speech in 360 captures a speaker’s voice from any angle. Phonak hearing aids offer 200 channels that adjust depending on the noise environment.
Phonak Hearing Aid Styles
Phonak hearing aids are all equipped with the Venture Processing Platform. They also treat varying degrees of hearing loss, from mild to profound. The three main models of Phonak hearing aids are: Audeo V, Bolero V, and Virto V. While they all boast the same technological features and functions, there are categories within each model to meet specific hearing needs, depending on the wearer’s hearing abilities. Audeo V is a receiver-in-canal hearing aid, Bolero V behind-the-ear, and Virto a customizable in-the-ear/in-the-canal/completely-in-canal/invisible-in-canal hearing aid. Depending on the wearer’s preferences and hearing abilities, all three models are come in different technological levels: Essential (V30), Standard (V50), Advanced (V70), and Premium (V90). The CROSII hearing aid specifically addresses single-sided hearing loss.
For wearers with higher levels of hearing loss, the NaidaQ hearing aid treats severe to profound degrees.
For younger hearing aid wearers, Phonak offers the SkyQ line of hearing aids. SkyQ is water and dust resistant, perfect for active children.
